PolicyConnect allows you to contextualise your policies, so that they reflect your organisation's unique circumstances. The Contextualisation Guide section provides administrators with one place where they can contextualise all of their policy pages within a specific module.
Please note some Ideagen CompliSpace modules do not contain the Contextualisation Guide section as of yet.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to edit your context keys from the Contextualisation Guide section of each of your modules.
To Edit Context Keys via the Contextualisation Guide
1. Click the Eye in the top menu to enter administrator view.
2. Click the name of the module that you would like to contextualise. We have selected the Work Safe Policies Module in the example below.
3. Click the arrow next to next to Executive Summary.
4. Select Contextualisation Guide.
5. Click Context Keys, here you will see a table containing all the context keys that affect the module.
6. Read the instructions in the instruction column for the context key you would like to edit.
7. Click the context key, this will be highlighted in yellow if it is incomplete and grey if complete. This will open a context key editing screen.
8. Enter the relevant information for your organisation in the space provided. Please note if you are not a group customer the Group Lock option and the Apply changes options will not appear for you.
Note for Group Customers only: At this step you will need to select if you would like these changes to be applied to the parent site only or the parent site and all child sites by clicking the checkbox next to Apply change to this site only or Apply change to this site and all child sites. Additionally, you may choose to group lock these changes by checking the box next to Group Lock. This will prevent PolicyConnect Administrators from editing context keys or variables at the child level.
9. Click (you may need to scroll down the screen to see the Update button).
The information you entered for this context key will now appear wherever the context key sits across the content in your platform.
