Note: Tasks and Actions share exactly the same function and customers may refer to either depending on the adopted terminology in their site.

To Complete a Task/Action from the To Do List
1. When you log into Assurance, your To Do list will display the task or action assignment(s) that you will need to complete
2. Select Not Started and the task performance window will appear
3. In the task window you will need to read the description, which may be worded as a question.
4. Click the downfacing arrow beneath Status and respond by selecting either In Progress, Compliant or Not Compliant. See here for the various responses and how they affect the assignment.
5. You may be required to provide a comment or attach evidence documents depending on your answer.
6. Select Save and your task result will be recorded.
To Complete a Task/Action from an Email Notification
1. You should receive an email notification from Assurance with a link to the task.
2. Click on the link and it should take you to the task window.
3. In the task window you will need to read the description, which may be worded as a question.
4. Click the downfacing arrow beneath Status and respond by selecting either In Progress, Compliant or Not Compliant. See here for the various responses and how they affect the assignment.
5. You may be required to provide a comment or attach evidence documents depending on your answer.
6. Select Save and your task result will be recorded.
