Some Assurance Registers and Forms Templates are very similar, so instead of recreating a Template from scratch you may want to make a copy of an existing Template and then make some small changes. For example, you may want separate Complaint Forms for Internal Complaints and External Complaints. The majority of the Template Fields may be the same with different form management or access.
To Copy Existing Registers and Forms Template
1. Click the Gear in the top menu
2. Click the Registers Forms and Templates button
3. Click the Name of the Template you want to copy
4. Click the Copy button
5. Enter a new Template Name and Prefix in the spaces provided
6. Click Create
7. This will bring up the successfully created template.
Setting Up a Registers and Forms Template
Further set up of the template is done on several tabs. Below is some key information that is needed.
- Details - basic template information
- Workflow - management of the stages and approvals
- Fields - management of the fields
- Notifications - management of the notifications
- MergeDocs
- Reference Documents
- Recommended Tasks
- Recommended Checklists
- Public Link - management of the template availability to external users
- History - provides information around template changes
Note: To use this feature you will need to have Administrator access.
