Groups are a great way to deliver learning about a specific topic to a cohort of users or to specific teams who need to achieve the same learning goals. It is important to keep your groups in CompliLearn as up-to-date as possible to ensure that you are using this functionality effectively. This guide will take you through the various options available when it comes to adding or removing learners from Groups in CompliLearn.

How to Add Learners to a Group
1. Click your User Avatar in the top right
2. Select Administer from the dropdown menu
3. Select the Groups Tab
4. Select the relevant Group Title
5. Click the Members tab
6. Click +Add
7. Type the user's name or email in the search box
8. Click the user's name as it appears in the dropdown menu
9. Repeat steps 7 & 8 for as many users as you would like to add to this group
10. Click Add
Note: When Learners are added to Groups, they are automatically assigned the learning that is attached to those Groups.

The Group ID also allows you to assign individuals to Groups in bulk, via an import spreadsheet. This is useful when you have to add or remove many users at the same time.
How to Remove Individual Learners from Groups
1. Click your User Avatar in the top right
2. Select Administer from the dropdown menu
3. Select the Groups Tab
4. Select the relevant Group Title
5. Click the Members tab
6. Locate the Member that you would like to remove
Note: The group member list is sorted by account creation date. To find a member, you can either scroll through the list or use the search bar to search for their name or email.
7. Click the Ellipsis button to the right of their details
8. Select Remove from group
9. Click Remove Member in the Remove Member Confirmation screen that appears
How to Add Multiple Learners to a Group from the User List
Multiple people can now be added to a Group in bulk without an import spreadsheet. To do so:
1. Click your User Avatar in the top right
2. Select Administer from the dropdown menu
3. Select the Users Tab
4. Tick the checkboxes next to the names learners you wish to add to the Group
5. Click the Add to group button
6. Type the name of the Group into the space provided
7. Click the Group when it appears in the dropdown menu
8. Click Add
Note: You cannot remove users from Groups using this method.
