What File Types are Accepted by Assurance

The following guide provides a list of file types that are accepted by Assurance. This guide is divided into the following sections:

Files that are Restricted by Assurance

The below file types are restricted by Assurance, as they can run macros (i.e., code) and therefore they pose a security risk. 

• xlsm
• docm

In exceptional circumstances, if you do need to upload the above restricted file types please follow the below steps:

1. Click the Feedback Button in the top-right of Assurance 

2. Click the Submit Idea button

3. Write the reason you need to use one of the above files in the blank space provided.

4. Select the level of importance beneath the heading "How important is this to you?"

5. Enter your email address in the space provided

6. Click Submit and an Ideagen CompliSpace representative will respond to your request accordingly.
