It is easy to swiftly retire checklist assignments when they are no longer relevant, so that your staff are not notified to complete the assignments. The assignments can be re-activated if they were to become relevant again.
Checklist assignments can now be retired in bulk by Full Users who have access to bulk actions.
To retire checklist assignments
1) Navigate to the checklist library
2) Select the checklists that require their assignments to be retired in bulk
Note: You can select the entire list by selecting the very top checkbox (as above), which will highlight all checklists. This may be all the same checklist with multiple assignments CGEN-2 (as above).
This could also be separate checklists, for example CGEN-2 and AUD-1. Highlighting both CGEN-2 and AUD-1 would delete all assignments from both checklists.
Alternatively, you can select any number of checklists. In the screenshot below, only the assignments CGEN-2-3 and CGEN-2-4 will be retired.
3) Once you have highlighted your checklists, a bulk actions icon will become available. Select this icon and a Retire Checklist Assignments button will become visible
After selecting 'Retire Checklist Assignments' a confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to select 'Retire Checklist Assignments' and not 'Retire Checklists', if you'll need to use the Checklist itself in the near future. Select 'Confirm' for your change to process.
