To copy an excursion risk assessment:
- Go to the home page and navigate to the 'Excursions' tab
- Go to the 'Action' column in the row of the risk assessment profile you want to copy and select the icon
- From here, you can either 'Copy excursion and convert to template' or 'Copy excursion'
- Once you select 'Continue', a copy excursion wizard will appear and you will need to re-name the risk assessment. The original risk selections will be highlighted in blue
- From here, you will be able to follow the prompts through each tab, selecting 'Continue' on each tab to accept the risk categories, or make adjustments before selecting 'Continue'
- Select 'Copy Risk Assessment' when you get to the final tab 'Outdoor Education Providers'. Your copied excursion profile will now open to the same screen you usually see when creating a new excursion, except the risk profile will be pre-populated.
- You will need to complete the checklists and save each section before proceeding to the acknowledgement. The copied risk assessment profile will still need to go through the normal approval process
- If you choose the option, 'Copy excursion and convert to template', the same process will follow, except you will be selecting 'Create Template' instead of 'Copy Risk Assessment' and the excursion profile will go into the 'Templates' section on the home page where it can be re-used
- Templates will remain in Draft until the risk assessment is completed and approved
- Templates are a quick way to find often used excursion profiles. They can also be copied the same way a regular excursion can be copied
Note: Only the risk profile can be copied. The risk assessment needs to be re-done each time you copy a risk assessment.
