How to Use the Exact Match Filter

The Exact Match Filter allows users to perform precise searches by ensuring that search results include only items that exactly match the specified search terms.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to:

• Use the Exact Match Filter to Search for Content
• Use the Exact Match Filter to Search for QuickLinks

To Use the Exact Match Filter to Search for Content

1. Click the Search Icon in the top menu

2. Select the Content tab

3. Click the checkbox next to Exact Match Only to ensure that the results returned include items that exactly match your search term.

4. Click the checkbox next to Search by Page Title only, if you want to narrow down the results to page titles that contain your search term.

To Use the Exact Match Filter to Search for QuickLinks

1. Click the Search Icon in the top menu

2. Select the QuickLinks tab 

3. Enter the web address that the Quick Link you are searching for would take you to. In the example below we are looking for the QuickLink that takes us to the Support Hub

4. Click the check box next to Exact Match Only if you want the returned results to match the exact search term you have entered.

5. Click Search

This will then show you the QuickLink that has that web address linked to it.
