There may be cases where you would like to export a report from Assurance as a PDF, but you do not have access to a software such as Adobe which allows you to view and edit PDFs. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how you can use Word to view and edit an Assurance report that you have exported to PDF.
To Open an Assurance PDF Report in a Word Document
1. Click Reports in the top menu
2. Locate the report you wish to export
3. Click the name of the report you wish to export
4. Click Export
5. Click PDF from the dropdown menu that appears
The PDF should appear in your downloads folder.
6. Open the Word application
7. Click in the left menu
8. Click
9. Locate the PDF in your files
10. Click Open
11. Click OK in the window that appears
Some formatting may change, but you should be able to make your edits in Word at this stage.
Once you have made the desired changes:
12. Click File in the top menu
13. Click Save
14. Choose the folder you would like to save to
15. Edit the file name
16. Click the field next to Save as type
16. Select either Word Document or PDF from the dropdown menu
17. Select Save
